Why Connect Airtable with Bliss?

This integration allows you to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation capabilities, enabling you to streamline processes, optimize operations, and gain a competitive edge in your industry.
Getting Started
Bliss’s Airtable integration is currently in private beta. Contact sales@withbliss.ai if you’re interested in trying it out.
Connecting to your Airtable account
To connect your Airtable account with Bliss, you’ll first need to create a Personal Access Token.
Creating a Personal Access Token
A Personal Access Token is a secret code that will only work for Bliss, will be securely stored, and can be easily deleted if needed. We won’t be able to access it once it’s added to your account, but it can be regenerated and added again. Start by ensuring you are logged into your Airtable account and then follow this URL: https://airtable.com/create/tokens
You’ll be presented with a view similar to this: Other Personal Access Tokens that you or members of your organization have added in the past will be listed here.
Let’s click on “Create new token” to continue:
Configuring your Personal Access Token
A new page will appear, allowing you to configure your new Token
Choosing a name
The Name can be any word or phrase you’d like to use to identify this token. Be sure to use something memorable in case you want to go back to it to regenerate or delete it. “Bliss” is a great option, but you can always be creative!
Selecting the right scopes
Scopes define the permissions you’ll be giving us. Anything not chosen here will never be read by Bliss.
Once you click on “Add a Scope,” you’ll be presented with a list of available permissions/scopes (you may have to scroll to check all of them!) Bliss will only require read access to your records, so select:
data.records:read
We’ll use this to read your information.
data.recordComments:read
We’ll use this to fetch any comments related to your data.
And finally:
schema.bases:read
We’ll use this to load the bases (Airtable’s name for tables) you have available and see what columns they contain.
If you accidentally added other scopes, that’s alright: you can remove them by clicking on the ”×” symbol at the end of each line.
Choosing what to share
The Access area will allow you to choose which bases and workspaces you’d like to share with Bliss. Clicking on “Add a Base” will show you three options:
Choose the first one if you’d like to share every existing base and all future ones, from any workspace. Choose the second one if you only want to share current and future bases created in your active workspace. Finally, you can also choose any of the listed Bases (“Your data” in our example).
There’s no right answer, but we suggest starting with one Base and adding new ones as you see fit.
Final step!
Click on the “Create token” button at the bottom and click the icon to copy the given code to your computer’s clipboard.
If you lose it, that’s alright! You can always regenerate it (or delete it) by using the menu at the end of the row in the Token management area.
Creating the Source in Bliss
To use your newly created Personal Access Token in Bliss, head to the Sources section and select Airbyte from the list of supported sources:
Paste the value you created into the field…
And that’s it! 🎉
Bliss will register your new Source and start fetching and processing your data.
You have successfully connected Airtable to your Bliss account. Enjoy!
